Safety
The PyroLance is a high-pressure jetting system with pressures in excess of 4400 p.s.i. Only trained, authorized personnel should operate the system.
Never Point the Abrasive Jet at Anyone
The operator must maintain a safe area of operation in front of the nozzle at all times. In addition, the operator must ensure a safe “sweep area” of at least 30 feet. The operator must comply with all local and national regulations concerning the use of high-pressure-water jetting systems.
Always Wear Appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
At minimum, those operating the PyroLance must wear the following:
- Full face visor, minimum 6", or safety goggles
- Helmet
- Hood
- Structural firefighting gloves
- Turnouts
- Protective footwear
